My sessions are open to everyone, regardless of personal beliefs, religion, or background. However, it's essential to understand that my coaching and counseling approach is rooted in my non-denominational Judeo-Christian faith and remains consistent for all clients.

Before booking, please be aware that my beliefs and practices are grounded in my faith. While I welcome individuals from any background or belief system, I do not modify my approach to accommodate different beliefs or practices. Please only book if you are open to my approach and skillset.

Open discussions are encouraged, but appointments are not meant for questioning or debating my beliefs or methods. I maintain a zero-tolerance policy for disruptive behavior, and sessions may be terminated without a refund if necessary. 

All information shared during 1.1 sessions is considered confidential and will not be disclosed to any third party without the participant’s written consent. This includes information shared verbally, in writing, or electronically. Recordings are any kind are prohibited unless mutually agreed and recorded in writing. In the case that permission is granted, recordings are for myself and the client only and not to be shared with others or the general public.

There are limited exceptions to the confidentiality policy:

Mandatory Reporting: If a participant discloses information indicating an imminent threat of self-harm or harm to others, Beyond the Lights is obligated to report this to the appropriate authorities to ensure the safety of all involved.

Legal Requirements: Beyond the Lights may be required to disclose confidential information if compelled by law, court order, or subpoena.

You are responsible for being in attendance at your session during the associated day and time without reminders from me. Should you need to reschedule, please do so as far in advance as possible. One reschedule for a missed session is permitted without penalty. After two no-shows, that appointment is considered delivered and you must reschedule and pay associated fees. Due to the nature of my work and service as a chaplain, there may be times I have to reschedule and there will be no penalty if the reschedule is a result of my necessity.

Please note that while I offer spirit-led Biblical counseling and various other services, I am not a licensed mental health professional. I do not provide psychiatry, therapy, or diagnose, treat, or medicate mental illness, and I do not offer emergency mental health services.

All individual bookings and retainers are final. I do not offer refunds under any circumstances. Rescheduling may be permitted if done 48 hours in advance or specially requested. 

I am a licensed and ordained Elder in the Christian Non-denominational faith and hold an honorary doctorate in Christian Humane Letters. I’ve also been nominated for an honorary doctorate of divinity. Additionally, I’ve completed multiple training programs, including Professional Christian Life Coaching, First Responder Mental Health Coaching, Mental Health Advocacy, Chaplaincy with the United States Chaplain Corps, and Psychological First Aid.

Voluntary Participation and Limitation of Liability: Your participation in any session is voluntary, and you have the right to withdraw from a session at any time. While every effort is made to ensure a positive outcome, Dr. Sarah Grace does not guarantee specific results, and each individual's experience and outcomes may vary. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dr. Sarah Grace and Beyond the Lights Practice shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the services provided, including but not limited to emotional distress, physical injury, or financial loss.

By scheduling and attending an appointment, you indicate that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined in this Non-Liability Statement.

If you are in an emergency, after you have contacted associated agencies, you can reach out via voicemail, text, or email to request a chaplain care call. In person and phone and video visits are made on a case-by-case basis.
